Update 10/16/18

With MetaMask you provide us your ethereum address. You may have to click the add token feature and then click custom token and then paste this address in the token address:

0xC2AddBA7C18381EEA227f76415FD2B4B4686A70B

This way you will see your CRED displayed properly once received.
With the Trust app, Send us that ethereum address and your CRED will show up automatically after we send it to you.

Update 10/15/18

Step 1: Download an ERC-20 compatible wallet, we like TRUST and MetaMask.
Step 2: Send your CRED through the App to Team@credits.energy
Step 3: Include the exact wallet address from your ERC-20 wallet into the “Enter your note” field in the CRED app.
Step 4: Send

This may take a few days to send everyone their tokens since it will be done manually.

Several exchanges are reviewing our token and we will have more information soon.

Update 10/11/18

We have decided to make CRED temporarily an ERC-20 token that you can send to any Ethereum wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens. Multiple exchanges accept ERC-20 tokens and very few can support a Monero based coin. So the plan is to finalize and test the token over the weekend. When the token is complete you will send your CRED to a specific email address through the app with the address to your Ethereum wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens in the “enter your note” section of the send CRED. We will then manually send you the CRED (CX) token to your wallet address. We will post the email address to send the CRED to on the next update with further more clear instructions. Also to clarify we are still developing a full fledged cryptocurrency. This is so the community can cash out as they wish via supporting exchanges. You can also choose to hold onto your CRED ERC-20 tokens. You can trade half and keep half if you wish. You will be able to swap out the token for the future CRED coin. This will give us time to perfect the technology and build a more secure infrastructure. Speaking of security, we recently implemented 2FA in the web wallet. Another update will be posted soon about how to exchange your CRED for the token.

Update 10/5/2018

We are aware that updates have not been very often and for that we apologize. Currently we are troubleshooting the Windows and Mac wallets which are almost complete. Shortly after we will have a block explorer set up to verify transactions in the network. We will also be testing nodes in the Cred network to ensure everything is secure. After that we will exchange the Credits in your accounts for Cred in the wallets that you will be able to export to other users or exchanges. We are negotiating with exchanges that want to see the block explorer ready before they will approve us. A lot of exchanges require a significant deposit in order to be listed and this is why we temporarily lowered the price to generate sales to expedite this project. Furthermore this entire project was a startup that had 100% organic growth and zero working capital to start with. That being said we’ve actually come pretty far. Yes, we are definitely behind schedule and for that there are a few other reasons like our previous CEO quitting and trying to resell us information for exchanges that have previously approved us. Then the previous programmer that did not deliver code after working with us for 4 months. We’ve since found another programmer and had to redo everything from the beginning. So in the spirit of transparency this is exactly what is going on at the moment and we are going to make sure this coin gets on the market regardless of what it takes. We currently have over 6,300 users although we raised almost 100k since we started raising funds at the beginning of the year. A lot of that funding went towards paying a marketing team, press releases, tech development, paying a CEO and 4 different programmers. We understand a lot of investors frustration since this project is clearly behind schedule and we thank you for your patience. As with any startup there are always hurdles to overcome and a lot to learn from. Persistence is key to getting to the finish line. Getting listed is just the first step to making this coin something that people appreciate that can actual create a difference in the realm of green energy and sustainable projects. Just to be clear, CRED (CX) is in no way a security token and any funds raised from projects will go into future projects and improving the tech infrastructure of CRED. Thank you all for your contributions, patience and understanding.
